COOKIES

Cookie policy

This site does not set cookies for its own purposes. The only cookies that may appear are Google Analytics measurement cookies, and only when analytics is enabled in the build.

Cookie policy

This site is built to be privacy-default. It does not set cookies for its own purposes — there is no login, no preferences store, and no consent banner because there is nothing here that would need consent on a typical visit.

What might still be set

Google Analytics (when enabled)

When the site is built with VITE_GA_MEASUREMENT_ID configured, Google Analytics 4 loads gtag.js and may set the following first-party cookies:

  • _ga — distinguishes unique visitors. Lifetime: 2 years.
  • _ga_<container-id> — session state for GA4. Lifetime: 2 years.

IP addresses are anonymised at collection. Aggregated reports are retained by Google for the GA4 default of 14 months. Google’s data-handling terms apply: see Google’s privacy and terms.

If GA4 is disabled (no VITE_GA_MEASUREMENT_ID set), no Google script is loaded and none of these cookies are set.

Contact form

The {{ ContactForm }} block on /contact posts to Web3Forms, which delivers your message to me by email. Web3Forms does not set cookies in your browser as part of the submission flow. See their privacy policy for how they handle the submitted data.

Embedded third parties

Embedded YouTube videos, when present, set their own cookies on play. They are loaded only after you interact with the player.

How to opt out

  • Browser controls — every modern browser lets you delete or block cookies per-site. See aboutcookies.org for step-by-step guides.
  • Google Analytics opt-out — install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on to disable GA tracking in your browser globally.
